Peggy Lee was an American jazz/pop singer-songwriter and actress, well-known for her emotional and fluid vocal timbre. Lee is best-known for her string of chart-topping hits in the early and mid-1940's to early-70's, including "Somebody Else Is Taking My Place", "Why Don't You Do Right", "Waitin' for the Train to Come In", "Golden Earrings", and several others. In 1955, Peggy Lee voiced four characters in Disney's Lady and the Tramp; Darling, Si, Am and Peg. She also co-wrote all songs for the soundtrack with Sonny Burke, and performed "He's a Tramp", "La La Lu", "The Siamese Cat Song" and "What Is a Baby?" for the film.
